Role:
The Proposal Specialist works collaboratively with MYR Group's Marketing and Business Development team. The Proposal Specialist will support our district offices across the United States and western Canada through the development of high quality, professional pre-qualification submittals, proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral. Essential Functions Lead the development of proposals (RFPs) and statements of qualifications (SOQs), collaborating with marketing, business development, and operations personnel Write, proofread, and edit proposal content, including cover letters, company overviews, technical staff resumes, project descriptions, graphics, organizational charts, etc. Lead team kick-off calls, develop proposal outlines, compile components, capture technical information from subject matter experts, ensure deadlines are met, etc. Support proposal submittals and handle printing and production, when required Develop and/or update presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials Support archiving/storing information to maintain the accuracy of internal databases Perform other marketing and business development tasks as needed Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a company-designated office or field location Other duties as assigned Regular and predictable attendance Understand and comply with the company's Code of Business Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if applicableAbout You:
Qualifications Minimum five years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and active listening skills with the ability to creatively problem solve Strong editing, writing, and communication skills Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and graphic layout is preferred Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet multiple project deadlines simultaneously, and manage a complex workload Knowledge of the A/E/C industry and proposal experience a plusWhat We Offer:
Compensation & Benefits Salary $70,000- 90,000 / year Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Comprehensive benefits package
