This position will provide on-site acquisition support at DOT Headquarters and assist with a wide range of federal procurement activities supporting service and commercial item acquisitions. The selected candidate will support acquisition activities throughout the procurement lifecycle, including acquisition planning, solicitation support, contract administration, modifications, and closeout activities. The role requires coordination with Contracting Officers (COs), Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), and program officials in a fast-paced federal acquisition environment. Provide acquisition support across multiple stages of the procurement lifecycle, including acquisition planning, market research, solicitations, evaluations, awards, administration, and closeout Assist with preparation and review of procurement packages, Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), and Performance Work Statements (PWSs) Support administration of contracts, task orders, BPAs, call orders, and purchase orders Assist with procurement actions utilizing multiple contract types, including Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursable, Labor Hour (LH), and Time & Materials (T&M) Support cost/price analysis activities, contract modifications, closeout actions, and related contract administration functions Maintain acquisition tracking information and provide status updates on contractual actions Assist with advertising, soliciting, awarding, and administering contractual actions
Must Have Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant federal contracting experience Demonstrated experience supporting Department of Transportation (DOT) contracting activities is required Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal procurement processes Experience supporting acquisitions under FAR Parts 8.4, 12, 13, 37, 43, and contract closeout procedures Experience supporting multiple contract types, including FFP, Cost Reimbursable, LH, and T&M contracts Ability to work independently and support recurring contract administration duties with limited guidance Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills Ability to provide on-site support at Federal Transit Authority Preferred Qualifications Experience using PRISM or other federal contract writing systems Experience supporting cradle-to-grave acquisitions for services and commercial items Experience supporting cost/price analysis activities
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
