Job Description
CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting their client in the Washington DC area in their search for a Proposal Contractor to lead end-to-end RFP management and proposal development, with a focus on public sector and nonprofit opportunities. This role owns the proposal lifecycle from intake and kickoff to submission while crafting clear, persuasive content and maintaining a high-quality content library. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator who can coordinate cross-functional teams (including offshore partners), improve processes through metrics, and elevate win rates. Experience with Salesforce and familiarity with government and/or nonprofit procurement are strong pluses. •Fulltime, 90 day Contract•
Key Responsibilities RFP Management:
Review, interpret, and respond to RFPs; drive schedules, deliverables, and compliance from kickoff to final submission. Content Creation:
Draft, edit, and format compelling proposals, statements of qualifications, and presentations tailored to client needs and evaluation criteria. Content Library Management:
Maintain templates, case studies, resumes/bios, and firm credentials; ensure accuracy, currency, and version control. Strategic Collaboration:
Coordinate with the proposal team, offshore resources, subject matter experts, and business partners to produce complete, compliant, and high-quality deliverables. Process Improvement:
Track proposal metrics (e.g., win rate, on-time submissions, content reuse) and refine templates, checklists, and workflows to improve efficiency and impact. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in proposal management, bid coordination, or proposal writing; experience with government or nonprofit RFPs preferred. Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills; ability to translate technical input into client-focused, persuasive content. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with style guides and document standards. Experience collaborating with offshore or distributed teams a plus. Salesforce experience a plus (e.g., opportunity tracking, reporting, pipeline alignment). Compensation $50-$60 an hour.
