Job Description:
???? Subcontract Administrator III - Aerospace We're hiring experienced Subcontract Administrators to support a major aerospace program. This is a hands-on procurement role supporting New Product Integration (NPI) and working closely with cross-functional engineering and program teams. ????
Location:
100% onsite - Kent, WA or Merritt Island, FL ????
Compensation:
$68-$80/hr, depending on experience and location ????
Contract:
Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension or contract-to-hire ????
Schedule:
Day shift
What You'll Do:
Manage cradle-to-grave procurement, from sourcing and quoting through PO/subcontract closeout Purchase aerospace hardware, components, materials, and services Support New Product Integration and introduction of new suppliers/components Track open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules Work closely with cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, and delivery schedules Manage supplier performance and resolve delivery or performance issues
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or subcontract administration experience Aerospace industry experience required Strong cradle-to-grave procurement experience Proven supplier follow-up and tracking skills Experience working with cross-functional teams Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience Must meet applicable U.S. export-control eligibility requirements Nice to
Have:
New Product Integration/New Product Introduction experience Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Costpoint
FAR/DFARS
knowledge Experience in a fast-paced aerospace or manufacturing environment
