Job Description

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will be part of a team that supports Blue Origin's mission. and vision. This role supports the purchase of COTS items and services for the Test and Flight / Mission Ops teams. The successful candidate for this role will be considerate, teaming and progress oriented. At times this role can be very demanding, but also has a team that is dedicated to the team's success, which results in Blue Origin's success. You will need to be confident in your Procurement knowledge and abilities while still humble to realize this is also a learning environment.

Relocation provided Travel expected up to 10% of the time Shifts available: 1st Shift Interviews will include a technical assessment Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Processing & Managing RFQ, RFI, and RFPs Lead formal negotiations of all types (pricing, terms and conditions, scope of work, schedule, etc.) Constructing various contracting types for major procurement activities to meet the requirements of the programs and needs of the business, continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities for enhanced efficiencies. Take ownership of the procurement process from requisition creation through final payment of invoices and are accountable to resolve issues within this process. Support the overall procurement organization's strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved to include delivery of materials that are on time, within budget, and meet technical performance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of tactical experience in procurement / supply chain; Master's degree in Business Administration / Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related filed with a minimum of 3 years of tactical experience in procurement / supply chain Interprets and applies company policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and at times U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics Ability to negotiate for price reasonableness using various pricing methods and data sources Ability to develop and execute negotiation plans for negotiations of all types, including, pricing, terms and conditions, schedules, scope of work and statements of work Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers to include working in supplier statements of work, and make suggestions internally to our customers & externally to our suppliers based off of findings Experience in procurement of COTS, raw materials, professional services in support of

Paid Time Off:
