CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • New employees of the Department of Military Affairs will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • New employees of the Department of Military Affairs are required to participate in a direct deposit/electronic transfer program.
  • The Department of Military Affairs is paid on a monthly basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • -A High School Diploma or equivalent; AND
  • Four (4) years of professional, full-time-equivalent experience in managing grants, contracts or related experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • -Administer and manage execution and implementation of Cooperative Agreements, Grants, and numerous state contracts.
  • Prepare, administer, and manage Interagency Agreements, Grants, and numerous state contracts.
  • Monitor and review the implementation of established policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with Grants, Contracts, and Cooperative Agreements.
  • Provide technical assistance to Department, Division, and Staff.
  • Prepare periodic progress and evaluation reports on Grants, Contracts, and Cooperative Agreements administrative activities.
  • Responsible for the renewal of recurring contracts within the agency. Contracts will be renewed yearly without a lapse in service. Reviews contracts and bids/solicitations for the purchasing office located at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center.
  • Prepare formal Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposal and Invitations to Negotiate and advertise on the Vendor Bid System for items totaling in excess of $25, #
