Type:

full-time Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr. Manager, Contracts located in Des Moines, IA. Reporting to the VP Finance, the Sr. Manager, Contracts will lead the administration, review, negotiation, and governance of the company's commercial contracts. This role will partner closely with Finance, Legal, Business Development, Operations, and other business stakeholders to ensure contracts support business objectives while complying with company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The position will serve as a key liaison between business and legal teams, identify contractual and commercial risks, facilitate required approvals, and help strengthen the company's contract management processes. The role will also support the continued development of the contracts function across the organization. What a typical day looks like: Draft, review, negotiate, and support the execution of commercial contracts and related agreements. Serve as the primary advisor to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, negotiation strategy, and compliance requirements. Partner with Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Operations to resolve contract-related issues and facilitate approvals. Assess contractual, commercial, and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the contract lifecycle. Lead negotiations with customers, contractors, municipalities, utilities, and other external stakeholders. Manage contract documentation, including bonds, insurance certificates, amendments, change orders, and claims. Support RFP, RFQ, bid, and proposal activities by reviewing commercial terms and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate contract records and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, milestones, and deadlines. Drive improvements in contract governance, processes, controls, reporting, and performance metrics. Provide training and guidance to business teams while fostering strong relationships with internal and external customers. The experience we're looking to add to our team: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in contract administration, contract management, commercial negotiations, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of contract governance, contractual language, risk assessment, and the full contract lifecycle. Proven experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering complex commercial agreements. Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience with utility, EPC/construction, government, municipal, or regulated-industry contracts, including RFP/RFQ processes, change orders, claims, bonding, insurance requirements, and
