Job Description
The Asset and Contract Governance Specialist -- Containers & Compactors is responsible for governing the lifecycle, contractual compliance, and financial oversight of container and compactor assets. This role ensures assets are accurately tracked, contractually compliant, operationally available, and financially optimized to support safe and reliable service delivery.

Vice President Pricing Essential Job Duties:
Govern the full lifecycle of container and compactor assets, including procurement, deployment, relocation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposition. Maintain accurate inventory, tagging, and asset records across asset management, billing, and financial systems. Monitor asset utilization, condition, and availability to identify idle, underutilized, damaged, or lost assets. Conduct and support physical inventories, audits, and field validations of container and compactor assets. Ensure compliance with asset-related contracts, including ownership terms, lease provisions, pricing, and service level commitments. Track contract milestones including renewals, amendments, rate escalations, asset returns, and terminations. Validate vendor invoices, lease charges, repair costs, and customer billing related to container and compactor assets. Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, unbilled assets, revenue leakage, and unauthorized asset activity. Analyze asset costs, repair trends, damage patterns, and loss rates to support governance and optimization decisions. Prepare reports and dashboards related to asset inventory, utilization, contract compliance, and financial performance. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and corrective action follow-up. Performs other duties as required or assigned.Scope of Responsibility:
Individual contributor role with governance responsibility over container and compactor asset portfolios. Has authority to investigate discrepancies, enforce governance standards, and recommend corrective actions. Decisions directly impact asset utilization, cost control, contract compliance, and revenue protection.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and contract interpretation skills Knowledge of container and compactor asset management practices Ability to analyze billing, cost data, and asset performance metrics Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets Proficiency with ERP, asset management, and reporting toolsEducation & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 3 years of experience in asset governance, contract administration, or asset-intensive operations Experience managing container and/or compactor assets preferredPhysical Demands & Work Environment:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Regularly required to talk and hear, both in person and by phone or web meetings. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to read and interpret data on a computer screen or printed documents. Work is performed in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels, in a climate-controlled environment with heating and air conditioning. Potential for remote work or hybrid work arrangement. May be required to lift up to 30 pounds.Travel Required:
