Zen-Noh Grain Corporation (ZGC) was formed in 1979 to accomplish the goal of establishing a safe and stable supply of U.S. corn, milo, soybeans, and other U.S. food supplies. ZGC is a U.S. subsidiary of ZEN-NOH, the largest agricultural cooperative association in Japan. We operate a grain and oilseed export terminal in Convent, Louisiana, which is the highest-handle grain export terminal in the U.S. In recent years, we have expanded our grain origination and export footprint with joint ventures in Brazil, Canada and Hong Kong. In addition to grain trading, we operate a forage processing and export business headquartered in Washington. Take ownership of export contracts by ensuring accuracy, validating key details, tracking revisions, and supporting compliant end-to-end execution from contract creation through shipment and invoicing while helping drive process improvement and data integrity. This job is primarily responsible for supporting export execution by ensuring accurate entry, maintenance, and documentation of export contracts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing contract details, amendments, and related documentation based on trader instructions, while maintaining audit-ready records and standardized contract data. This job partners with trading, legal, and execution teams to ensure contract accuracy and compliance with established procedures. In this job, you will: Input, create and maintain export contracts and amendments based on information provided by traders. Track and document contract revisions and approval status. Validate contract data for completeness and alignment with standard terms. Analyze contracts and amendments to ensure all contracts and amendments are properly approved and executed. Escalate discrepancies, missing information, or risks to senior team members. Maintain contract templates and clause library under guidance. Assist with review of load orders for alignment to contract terms. Enter shipment-related data and invoices into system (GEM). Support process improvement and standardization efforts. Maintain organized, audit-ready contract files and documentation. Other duties as assigned. Here's what you'll need to be considered: Education Required
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent education, experience and training. Experience Required
- 2 years' related experience in contract administration, trade support, or export operations (including International export contract management). Preferred
- Exposure to international trade terms (GAFTA, NAEGA, FOSFA).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Working knowledge of contract terminology, structure, and implications. In-depth knowledge of NAEGA, FOSFA, GAFTA, and Federal Grain Standards. Understanding of the financial impact of transactions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong data analysis and process improvement capabilities. Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization and the country. Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external partners. Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills. Effective workload management, prioritization, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to adapt quickly and reprioritize tasks in response to changing business needs. Ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and apply independent judgment on sensitive matters. Ability to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation as needed. Demonstrated strong work ethic and results orientation. The expected base pay range for this role is: $51,133.00
