Job Type:
Full-time | Direct Hire Schulte Staffing is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager for an established manufacturing organization. This is a high-impact role responsible for overseeing corporate compliance and managing the contracting process from initial review through negotiation and execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, risk management, and manufacturing environments and is comfortable partnering directly with executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage the contract process from initial review through negotiation and execution Review and negotiate customer, supplier, and employment-related contracts Identify contractual and regulatory risks and recommend appropriate solutions Ensure compliance with applicable commercial, business, customs, and regulatory requirements Develop, implement, and maintain corporate compliance policies and procedures Develop compliance tools, processes, and management systems Conduct internal compliance audits and identify areas of risk Support compliance related to data protection, ethical business practices, and corporate governance Review customs and international trade-related compliance matters Develop and deliver compliance training Partner with leadership and internal departments on complex compliance and contractual matters Provide compliance reporting and recommendations to executive management The original position specifically emphasizes complex contract negotiations, reducing contract cycle times, managing risk, and developing the legal framework supporting the organization. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in compliance, contracts, legal operations, risk, or a related oversight function Master's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field Strong knowledge of commercial and business law and applicable regulatory requirements Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts Familiarity with manufacturing-related contracts, regulations, and industry standards Experience with customs and international trade compliance preferred Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and confidently with senior leadership Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Leadership experience preferred

$120,000
