Job Summary:
We are representing a highly impactful opportunity for a Contracts Manager to support complex electric construction work across a major New England portfolio. This role offers the chance to drive contract performance, cost control, and commercial compliance on work that directly supports critical infrastructure delivery.
Responsibilities:
Manage EPC, lump sum bid, sole source, and unit rate-based construction contracts across the project portfolio, including inspection, review, cost validation, investigation, assessment, change order reconciliation, negotiation, and dispute resolution. Support delivery of the annual electric capital construction workplan assigned to contracted resources, with a focus on cost control and technical contract compliance. Build and maintain effective relationships with external contractors and internal stakeholders across Construction, Project/Program Management, Procurement, Engineering, Safety, and Emergency Planning. Support contract alignment with customer needs, business requirements, regulatory and legal obligations, while identifying contractual and cost risk through project development, RFP, award, execution, and closeout.
Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in contract management, construction management, project management, or engineering within the electric utility or another technical industry. 3-5 years of quantitative and qualitative pricing analysis and validation in construction preferred. 2-3 years of estimating background preferred. EPC experience highly desirable; advanced Procore experience highly desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Power BI, MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Point, Excel, and Word. Valid driver's license required.
