Senior Manager, Cost Estimation and Capital Planning Versigent designs and delivers the systems that move power through modern technology. YOUR ROLEThe primary responsibility of the Senior Manager, Cost Estimation and Capital Planning will be to provide financial leadership to the quoting process. You will be responsible for guiding the program team to quote new programs accurately while highlighting the risks and opportunities in a strategic way to achieve future profitable growth. This is a cross-functional role and you will be responsible to ensure processes are developed, communicated and followed across the regions. RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and deploy global standard policies, frameworks, and supporting tools for the creation and presentation of business cases, including customer quotations, capital expenditures, and savings initiativesLead crossregional reviews of business cases with regional leadership prior to executive submission, ensuring consistency, rigor, and adherence to established policies and standardsSynthesize and clearly articulate key risks, opportunities, sensitivities, and nonstandard considerations for executive leadership, including factbased recommendations to optimize outcomesPartner with global program management and regional teams to execute postaudit reviews, tracking performance against approved commitments and driving corrective actions as neededOwn and maintain rolling threeyear capital expenditure forecasts, working closely with regional finance and operations teams to identify optimization and prioritization opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferredTen or more years of experience in program controlling and commercial financeExperience working in a matrixed global organization, automotive preferredExpertise in Excel-based modeling, and solid working knowledge in SAP or similar ERP systemStrong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsExperience presenting/summarizing findings to executive leadership preferredAbility to work onsite in Troy, MIMust be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
