Job Description

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Boeing Defense and Space (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Information Technology Engineer to join us as part of the F-15 Flight Simulation team located in St. Louis, MO. This position supports Risk Managed Framework network compliance across multiple avionics test labs as well as the design of networks connecting embedded PCs and host PCs on avionics test benches. The Lab Infrastructure team is responsible for the design, modification, and troubleshooting of all test benches used in the avionics' lab to support systems integration testing on the F-15.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop system network architectures between embedded PCs and host PCs on test benches Support RHEL 9 Installation, configuration, patching and maintenance of Windows and Linux server environments Support containerization Provide active directory management and file server management Troubleshoot user problems related to hardware, software, or processes Conduct monthly OS patching and anti-virus updates Create user accounts and reset passwords Run backups on workstations and servers Maintain compliance with Risk Managed Framework and NISPOM rules Keep facility signage up to date Maintain lab access list This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO. Domestic Travel may be required up to 10% of the time This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience Possess at least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): Network+ Certification and/or A+ certification Linux+ Certification Pay Rate Range 41 - 46 USD hourly
