What You Will Do:
As a Marketing & Proposal Manager, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to: Develop high-quality pursuit deliverables including qualification statements, proposals, and presentation materials by analyzing RFQs and RFPs to create proposal outlines, coordinating pursuit teams, crafting strategy and win themes, and compiling, writing, editing, and laying out pursuit documents. Guide, coach, and manage teams preparing for oral interviews; develop the strategy and materials used in delivering the presentations. Maintain records of regional projects and field staff, including coordinating final photography and collecting/cataloging project profile information, case studies, and field team resumes. Work with regional team to develop regional marketing strategic plans, using creativity and a strong knowledge of the marketplace to recommend appropriate strategies and deliverables. Identify strategic markets; schedule and coordinate goals/objectives/tactics to raise brand visibility and increase profitable wins. Lead the creation of marketing deliverables; craft custom content for various uses/audiences, such as presentations, video, digital/social, press releases, brochures, signage, and award submissions that align with regional marketing objectives. Engage clients serving as the local marketing expert by planning and delivering a variety of marketing experiences in the region including corporate events, project events, thank you gifts, client correspondence, and proof of outcomes (storytelling to span construction and project completion). Participate in corporate strategic planning, marketing department strategy, and marketing-team based initiatives as appropriate to support corporate objectives of growth, brand awareness, and message consistency. Work within the Marketing Department to engage corporate marketing in establishing a unified brand look/feel, corporate messaging, and shared storytelling, especially partnering with integrated marketing representative to balance regional presence with other company and regional campaigns. Partner with creative design representative ensuring the best and highest use of established marketing brand standards. Support the business development and marketing outcomes of the whole company through a variety of other activities as necessary. What You Will Bring to the
Team:
Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field with a writing or marketing related focus. Minimum five (5) years of related experience, including marketing/communications, professional writing/editing and/or technical proposal development and processes. Minimum three (3) years of proposal development or directly related experience. -or-Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience. Preferred experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field with a writing or marketing related focus Five (5) or more years of proposal-specific experience, including demonstrated success in developing compelling and winning RFP and RFQ responses and experience delivering professional grade proposals while adhering to strict deadlines. Two (2) or more years of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) marketing experience. Intermediate knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be proficient in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and have accurate proofreading skills. Strong project management and organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners, interacting confidently with a wide range of internal and external customers in various situations. Confident, consultative style in expressing opinions in a collaborative work environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to plan, schedule, and organize tasks while completing work within established deadlines. Ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for own actions, and keep commitments. Intermediate knowledge of Adobe software, such as Acrobat and InDesign.
