Lincoln, NE Job Details Full-time $75,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Office Customer inquiry handling Financial regulatory compliance Analytics Full Job Description Licensing, Contracting, and Agent Commissions Manager American Life Financial Partners, LLC a rapidly growing financial services holding company, is seeking a customer-focused, hands-on, and strategic Licensing, Contracting, and Agent Commissions Manager to lead and support the Licensing, Contracting and Agent Commissions Team. We operate as a modern insurance-holding company focused on long-term growth. We aim to foster and cultivate our relationships to sell and administer annuity products through third-party independent marketing organizations (IMOs). Summary/Objective The Licensing, Contracting, and Agent Commissions Manager will oversee all aspects of agent licensing, contracting, and commission processes. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, manages agent relationships, and supports the overall sales and operational goals of the company.
Essential Functions Agent Contracting and Licensing:
Manage the agent contracting and licensing processes, ensuring all agents are properly credentialed and compliant with state and federal regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of agent licenses, appointments, and contracts. Coordinate with state insurance departments to resolve licensing issues and ensure timely processing of applications.
Commission Management:
Oversee the commission payment process, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of commission payments to agents. Handle commission-related inquiries and discrepancies, providing clear and effective resolutions. Analyze commission structures and recommend improvements to optimize agent performance and company profitability.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies related to agent contracting, licensing, and commissions. Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards, updating processes and procedures as needed. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Agent Support and Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for agents regarding contracting, licensing, and commission matters. Provide training and support to agents on company policies, procedures, and systems. Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage a team of contracting and licensing specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of agent-related processes and initiatives.
Operational Oversight and Process Management:
Oversee system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and test preparation activities related to contracting, licensing, and commission processes. Develop, maintain, and manage departmental procedures, workflows, andreportingmetrics to support operational efficiency and service standards. Review and approve large invoices,ensuringtimely payment processing, including reconciliation of state appointment renewals and related fees. Monitor operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and enhanced reporting capabilities. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. 5 years of experience in annuity operations, policy administration, or customer service, Prefer1year in alead,supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to insurance licensing and commissions. Proven experience in managing and leading a team. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with agents and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with agent management systems. Competencies Attention to

Analyzes data to improve commission structures and processes. Work Environment Works in an office environment but may need to travel occasionally for training or meetings. This is a full-time position, with typical business hours of 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday. Additional hours may be required during peak periods or to meet deadlines. The manager may need to be available occasionally for on-call support outside of regular business hours in case of urgent matters. Supervisory Responsibility This position currently manages 5-7 people Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described below represent those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and communicate with others. This may be over the phone, in person, or through email and messaging. Employees must frequently sit, stand, walk, and use their hands and fingers to work with the computer, phones, filing cabinets, paperwork, etc. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed to complete work and ensure operations/business is not interrupted or slowed.
