Job Description

Quality Audit Nurse | New Jersey | Contract Walker Healthforce is seeking a Quality Audit Nurse with 3-5 years of related business experience, preferably in the healthcare industry , to conduct quality audits, analyze findings, support quality improvement initiatives, and prepare audit and quality reporting. This is a Contract opportunity .

Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Contract Length:
3 months with high probability of renewal

Core Requirements:
3-5 years of related business experience, preferably in the healthcare industry Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license Valid driver's license and access to an automobile Knowledge of managed care principles and medical terminology Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills Strong PC and presentation skills Ability to conduct provider audits, analyze findings, and manage corrective action activities
We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:
Knowledge of URAC accreditation standards and HEDIS principles Knowledge of health management or patient education
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site and virtual reviews at participating provider offices to evaluate the environment, quality of medical records, and compliance with documentation standards. Prepare documentation summarizing audit findings and provide education regarding opportunities for improvement. Provide data support and analyze trends and patterns related to quality improvement and health management. Assist with Quality Management special projects and focused clinical studies. Support training for internal staff, providers, and vendors on programs and audit standards. Serve as the in-house representative and project lead for state audits. Analyze audit findings and produce requested weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end, and other reports. Coordinate and manage the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) process for assigned audit types. Conduct reaudits to ensure previously identified deficiencies have been addressed.
