M-F Rate of Pay:
$30-35/hr, based on experience
Additional Compensation:
Bonus, and 401K after probationary period. Vacation, Sick and paid Holidays. Job Description- Construction Administration (Administrator)-Manages the logistical, operational, and contractual details of a construction project. Tasked with reviewing submittals and inspection reports, tracking funds and materials, generating pay estimates, and serving as a liaison between the project owner and the architect/ contractor. Acting as a liaison between the project owner, architect, and general contractor, they ensure the build stays on schedule, within budget, and complies with all design specifications and regulations.
Core Responsibilities Document Control :
Reviewing, organizing, and tracking critical project paperwork. This includes processing requests for information (RFIs), submittals, and material samples.
Contract Management :
Drafting and monitoring contracts for general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all parties meet their legal obligations.
Financial Tracking :
Managing project cash flow by tracking invoices, evaluating labor hours, processing contractor payment applications, and issuing change orders for budget adjustments.
Compliance and Permitting :
Securing local municipal building permits, verifying adherence to regional building codes, and keeping track of necessary safety compliance documentation.
Stakeholder Communication :
Coordinating schedules and facilitating communication between the design team, field managers, and clients. They also organize project meetings and distribute minutes.
Bidding Coordination :
Gathering quotes from external suppliers, assembling cohesive bid packages, and coordinating the onboarding paperwork for selected subcontractors/ consultant engineers.
Site Progress Monitoring :
Conducting routine field visits to observe progress, document visual updates, and catch design or quality deficiencies early in the execution phase.
Project Closeout :
Compiling the final delivery packages for property owners. This involves managing final punch lists, warranties, and delivering "as-built" blueprint drawings.
Schedule & Risk Oversight:
Monitoring project timelines to ensure benchmarks are met and mitigating potential risks or delays.
Quality Assurance:
Ensuring the physical construction aligns perfectly with the architect's design intent and that materials meet the specified standards.
Software:
