Job Description

In-House Paralegal / Contract Administrator Seeking an experienced, efficient legal professional to provide accurate and timely administrative support to corporate legal counsel, ultimately enhancing legal department effectiveness. The Company T.M. Bier & Associates, Inc. (TMBA) is one of the largest independent Control Systems Engineering and Support firms in the New York Metropolitan area. We pride ourselves on innovation, integrity, and a collaborative work environment. We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal or Contract Administrator to join our legal team and support our business operations. Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, administer and track status for customer contracts, purchase orders, agreements, and other legal documents. Assist with corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. Organize and maintain legal files, contracts, and corporate records. Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure contract compliance. Assist in litigation preparation. Assist the General Counsel in all administrative matters. Performs personal assistant functions for legal counsel including processing health claims and booking travel arrangements Supports the general administrative team including answering phones and arranging food service for meetings and events Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Paralegal Studies, Business, or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate legal department, law firm, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of contract law and corporate governance. Strong written and oral communication skills Must possess extreme attention to detail Must possess high level organizational & time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize workload Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with AI a plus.
