In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards, organizational policies, and industry regulations. Your expertise will facilitate seamless procurement activities, vendor relationships, and contractual negotiations, empowering our business to operate efficiently and ethically. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic planning, risk mitigation, and business development initiatives within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including procurement agreements, service contracts, and vendor partnerships to secure favorable terms while managing risk. Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation through renewal or termination using advanced document management systems such as Salesforce, DocuSign, or ERP platforms like PeopleSoft and SAP. Ensure compliance with applicable laws such as UCC law, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other relevant legal standards by conducting thorough contract review and audits. Maintain meticulous records of all contractual documents, amendments, and correspondence for easy retrieval and audit readiness. Collaborate with procurement teams to streamline purchasing processes, optimize vendor management strategies, and support business development efforts through strategic contract negotiations. Facilitate change management procedures related to contractual modifications or scope adjustments while ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Conduct research on legal trends related to contracts and intellectual property law to keep policies current and enforceable. Skills Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation within a corporate or government setting. Strong knowledge of legal drafting, document review, and compliance management practices. Expertise in contract management software such as Salesforce, DocuSign, ERP systems (PeopleSoft), or similar platforms. Excellent negotiation skills combined with strategic planning capabilities to maximize value for the organization. Familiarity with UCC law, FAR regulations, and contractor management principles for federal or large-scale projects. Ability to manage records efficiently using document management systems while maintaining high attention to detail. Strong research skills coupled with technical writing proficiency for proposal writing and pricing documentation.
