Job Description

The Contracts Specialist provides clerical and administrative support for the bidding, procurement, and contract management process. This position serves as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries and assists in maintaining the contract management system, ensuring compliance with statutory, legal, and procurement requirements. The work is performed under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment when responding to routine internal and external inquiries. This position does not supervise staff. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND Four (4) years of full-time paid experience (or part-time equivalent) in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or a closely related field Substitution A bachelor s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, public administration, or a closely related field may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis (30 credit hours equals one year of experience, up to a maximum of four years). Additional Requirements Degrees must be from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
