Contract Coordinator-Level 3 - Senior (11 - 15 Years)
Location:
White Plains, New York (Onsite) Role OverviewThis position is responsible for assisting in tasks related to activities involving negotiations, contract documents, and other legal or regulatory proceedings with regard to the wholesale power and natural gas business. The role involves interaction with a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in power plant overhauls and maintenance. The position requires a focus on following standardized processes while continuously seeking to improve them. Key ResponsibilitiesReview contractual agreements or proposed amendments for conformity to company policies or recommendations.

Generate outgoing contracts, amendments, and confirmations to trading partners.

Maintain accurate records, coordinate and track incoming and outgoing documents, and manage the contract/counterparty database.

Assist with Proforma development, including assumption validation, and complete reporting as needed.

Lead strategic contract planning and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Act as a subject matter expert in contract risk assessment, financial obligations, and corporate contract governance.

Provide leadership and oversight on maintenance execution, ensuring safety, environmental, and quality standards are met.

Work closely with Specialists, Supervisors, and other Contract Coordinators to develop and implement complex plans for work execution.
Required QualificationsEducation:
A designation as a paralegal or another relevant college degree is required.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in contract negotiations, legal compliance, and financial risk management. Experience as a contractor coordinator with power plant or utility construction experience is sought.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word. Expert-level knowledge in contract law, compliance frameworks, and financial risk mitigation. Possess technical knowledge of power plant equipment and be skilled in understanding and resolving technical issues. Additional InformationDriving will be required as part of the position duties. Per Diem and Mob/De-Mob expenses are available for this requisition.
