- Contract Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
- :•+ Draft and review multiple types of contract agreements; + Manage contract data for timeliness, accuracy, and quality; + Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date contract files; + Negotiate and correspondence with subcontractors and clients; + Monitor contract compliance; + Assist with responding to client questionnaires as part of the vendor setup process and addressing legal related questions from clients; + Negotiates with customers to draw up client contracts: Negotiating, extensions, terminations, and renegotiating contracts; + Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance with contractual obligations; + Approves or rejects requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules in accordance with internal policy; •Qualifications•The ideal candidate would possess•:•+ Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communications; + Motivated to improve processes, procedures, and the work environment; + Professional appearance and manner; + Exceptional attention-to-detail; + Strong work ethic; + Strong computer and extremely organized; + Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail; + Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude; + Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies; + Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, Powerpoint, and Internet research; + Solid understanding and demonstration of client confidentiality; + Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events; + Critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems;
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
+ Associate degree and at least two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Paralegal degree preferred. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint; + Knowledge ofFAR & DFARS
rules and regulations; + Experience in negotiation. + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship- Additional Information
- Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with additional hours, as needed.
