We are seeking an accomplished business growth professional who has already built trusted relationships, developed a strong reputation, and can identify or bring real opportunities from day one. The ideal candidate is someone with an entrepreneurial mindset—someone who has considered building their own company, enjoys creating value, and wants the freedom to build a business without the burden of managing accounting, HR, compliance, and the other back-office functions required to operate a company. You'll have the autonomy to pursue opportunities that align with our capabilities across Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA), Engineering Services, and Product Solutions. Whether it's a major program pursuit or a niche technical requirement, we value initiative, creativity, and the ability to convert relationships into revenue. If you've ever wanted to build your own portfolio of business within an established, well-positioned organization, this role was created for you. What You'll Do You will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence and ownership from your first day.Your responsibilities include:
- Leverage your existing relationships across the Department of Defense to identify, shape, and win new business opportunities.
- Expand our presence within the Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and other defense organizations.
- Maximize the value of our existing contract vehicles—including
MDA SHIELD, GSA
MAS, and applicable Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs)—while identifying additional contracting pathways that accelerate growth.- Develop and execute capture strategies from opportunity identification through award.
- Build and manage your own portfolio of opportunities while collaborating with technical and executive leadership to position winning solutions.
- Bring fresh ideas for markets, customers, partnerships, and product offerings that create long-term growth.
- Demonstrated history of winning or capturing Department of Defense business.
- Active, established network of government decision-makers and industry partners.
- Ability to identify and mature opportunities with a realistic path to award.
- Active U.S. security clearance (any level).
- Strong understanding of the federal acquisition environment, including contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, OTAs, and similar procurement mechanisms.
