Job Description

Hiring Department Department of UP Managed Care Job Description Ensure University Physicians and its affiliate providers are enrolled with all Managed Care, Government, and other payors appropriately. Process provider updates for each department as required. Work with Med Staff to ensure appropriate credentialing approvals process for providers. Update NPI records for all providers. Confer with providers, department administrators, and payors to resolve provider enrollment issues. Process and track Payor revalidations as required. Set up and revise billing areas, billing numbers, and practice locations for providers within billing system. Track enrollment status of providers and enter effective enrollment dates to ensure claims are processed in timely manner. Ensure that all CMS Guidelines are being followed including HIPPA, and Teaching Physicians Rules. Complete the annual provider contract process and ensure all necessary documents are received for documentation. Remote working options available. #upjobs Shift Monday-Friday Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications Niche Professional Interests:
Professional Coding Certification from recognized organization. Two to five years' experience in Professional Coding or health care related field. Knowledge and ability to use applicable computer software and procedures.
Anticipated Hiring Range Salary Range:
$53,976 - $85,176 annually
