Contracts Analyst Position Summary:
Sapient Logic is seeking an experienced Contracts Analyst to support federal contracting activities with a strong emphasis on proposal pricing, contract awareness, and compliance. The ideal candidate will work closely with business development leads, the Contracts Manager, finance, and technical teams to support the development of compliant, competitive proposals and to maintain awareness of active contractual obligations across the company's federal portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring pricing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuity of contracts operations during proposal efforts and contract execution.Key Responsibilities:
Support proposal pricing efforts for Federal solicitations including Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotations, Requests for Information, and Sources Sought by assisting with labor mapping, rate validation, and pricing inputs. Maintain awareness of current active contracts, contract vehicles, and task orders to ensure proposal assumptions align with existing contractual terms, ceilings, and rate structures. Review, analyze, and assist in the preparation and negotiation of Non Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and related pre award contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policies and Federal contracting requirements. Collaborate with business development, finance, and technical teams to support compliant cost volumes and pricing narratives that align with solicitation requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines. Assist with the development, maintenance, and validation of preliminary billing rates, indirect rates, and escalation assumptions used in proposal pricing models. Demonstrate working knowledge of DCAA Incurred Cost Electronically ICE submissions and support the Contracts Manager by assisting with E-craft report generation, data validation, and submission preparation when needed. Fill in for the Contracts Manager on discrete tasks as required, including E-raft reporting, contract documentation preparation, and coordination with internal stakeholders during proposal deadlines. Support compliance reviews of solicitation responses to ensure pricing, representations, and certifications are accurate and consistent with contractual and regulatory requirements. Maintain organized contract and pricing documentation to support audits, proposal reviews, and internal governance processes. Collaborate with cross functional teams to continuously improve pricing processes, templates, and internal controls related to Federal contracts.Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience supporting contracts, pricing, or proposal efforts in a Federal government contracting environment. Demonstrated experience supporting proposal pricing for Federal solicitations with an understanding of labor categories, indirect rates, and cost buildup methodologies. Working knowledge of Federal procurement regulations including FAR and DFARS as they relate to pricing, contracts, and compliance. Experience reviewing and supporting NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and other pre award contractual documents. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for pricing analysis and Microsoft Word for contract and proposal documentation. Ability to work effectively with contracts, finance, business development, and technical teams in a deadline driven proposal environment. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Contract Management, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience. U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain a security clearance is preferred.Job Type:
