Job Description
A hybrid role responsible for administrative and MRO procurement support for the Horseheads site. This role is responsible for supporting the Horseheads site leader and operations team in a variety of administrative and MRO purchasing tasks. Essential Duties Administrative Support Provide day to day administrative support to operations, maintenance, and management teams. Prepare, review, and maintain correspondence, reports, schedules, and records. Coordinate meetings, calendars, and communications. Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems. Manage office supplies and administrative inventory. Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting as required. MRO Purchasing Source, purchase, and track MRO materials, equipment, and services. Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery status. Monitor open orders, expedite critical materials, and resolve supply issues. Maintain vendor records and support vendor performance management. Assist with contract and supplier administration. Cross-Functional Collaboration Essential Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related coursework preferred. 2+ years of experience in administrative support, purchasing, or MRO procurement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) . Experience with ERP, purchasing, or inventory systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail . Effective written and verbal communication skills.
