#INDHB The Energy and Sustainability Asset Management Specialist will help organize, and track data and deliverables related to client's renewable energy and sustainability contracts. Client is a global leader in corporate renewable energy procurement and has achieved its 100% renewable electricity goal for serving its corporate, retail, and data center facilities in 2020. Client is now actively working to eliminate its entire carbon footprint by 2030. In this role, you will be a key contributor to client's Global Energy and Sustainability Team (GET) and help client achieve its ambitious sustainability goals. A strong candidate will have familiarity with renewable energy contracts, as well as comfort with large data sets and the details of environmental reporting. This position is full-time and located in San Jose, CA (onsite at SC09). Key Responsibilities Maintain documents and data related to client's renewable energy portfolio as it grows to meet our 2030 carbon neutrality goals Monitor renewable power plant performance, including outages and availability Track client and counterparty compliance with key milestones and deliverables and document compliance in client's internal contract management systems Review and validate ongoing purchase orders, invoicing and payments, as well as Renewable Energy Credit (REC) receipt and retirement Assist with routine contract tasks such as maintenance of collateral, monitoring of the energy contracts mailbox, setting up counterparties as vendors, abstraction of contract provisions, filing of project status reports, and other needs that may arise in an contract's lifecycle Support sustainability tracking and reporting related to client's energy usage and renewable energy production Minimum Qualifications BA/BS degree in relevant field 2+ years of job experience in a related field: contract management, paralegal work, lease accounting, project administration, etc. At least 1 year job experience with electric power purchase agreements or other energy asset management. Specific educational focus in this area can be substituted for professional experience requirement. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to navigate, edit, synthesize, update, and organize large datasets. Interview will include an Excel test. Excellent spoken and written communication skills and ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse colleagues in an unstructured environment Focused, self-motivated, well organized Demonstrated strong attention to detail Desired Qualifications Experience extracting, conveying, and understanding information from contracts Work experience with an electric utility, energy supplier, project developer, or other energy-related company Experience with energy data, such as electricity pricing or interval meter data Understanding of corporate renewable energy procurement processes Advanced knowledge of contract management processes Understanding of relational database principals and data structuresJob Type:
