Job Title:
Contracts Manager (Advanced) Job Description This advanced Contracts Manager role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and managing complex contracts while supporting broader transactional activities, including mergers and acquisitions. You will lead contract lifecycle activities from initial drafting and negotiation support through redaction, cleanup, and data aggregation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership in a fully remote environment. Responsibilities Draft, revise, and finalize a wide range of contracts, including preparation of consent letters and novation agreements. Conduct in-depth contract review and analysis to identify key terms, risks, obligations, and opportunities for improvement. Perform contract redaction and cleanup to ensure documents are accurate, complete, and properly formatted for internal and external use. Collect, organize, and aggregate contractual data to support reporting, analysis, and decision-making. Communicate with customers regarding contract-related matters and maintain clear, accurate progress tracking for each engagement. Support data room management by organizing, updating, and maintaining contract-related documentation and materials. Use digital tools, including Microsoft Co-Pilot and e-discovery platforms, to streamline contract review, data extraction, and document management. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and leadership to provide contractual overviews and ensure alignment with business objectives. Support M&A activities by reviewing, analyzing, and organizing contracts and related documentation, as needed. Essential Skills Proven experience in contract drafting, contract administration, and contracts management. Strong capability in in-depth contract review and analysis, including identification of key terms and risk areas. Experience with contract redaction and cleanup to ensure accuracy and consistency. Demonstrated ability to collect, aggregate, and interpret contractual data. Experience communicating with customers on contract-related matters and maintaining progress tracking. Proficiency with digital tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot and e-discovery platforms. Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders and leadership on contractual overviews and related issues.
Education:
BA/BS required.
Experience:
For candidates with a Juris Doctorate (JD), 1-2 years of relevant contract experience; for candidates with a BA/BS, at least 6 years of contract experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Juris Doctorate preferred, or paralegal background. Prior experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is preferred. Experience working within a complex, regulated industry such as aerospace or similar is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and precision in contractual language. High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability for the quality and accuracy of work. Work Environment This role operates in a fully remote work environment, offering flexibility in location while maintaining professional standards and expectations. You will work extensively with digital tools and platforms, including Microsoft Co-Pilot and e-discovery systems, to manage contracts and related data. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, leadership, and customers will occur through virtual meetings, calls, and online communication channels. The position supports a reputable aerospace-focused organization, providing exposure to complex, high-impact contractual work in a structured and professional remote setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Windsor Locks, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
