Do you want your skills to directly support programs that change the lives of youth and families throughout Central Oregon? J Bar J Youth Services is seeking a Grants and Contracts Manager to oversee the financial and administrative management of the grants and contracts that make our mission possible. This role combines relationship building, financial oversight, reporting, and project management to ensure we remain excellent stewards of the funding entrusted to us. Every reimbursement submitted, every deadline met, and every contract successfully managed helps provide critical services to youth and families in our community. What You'll Do As our Grants and Contracts Manager, you'll work closely with program leaders, finance staff, and executive leadership to: Manage the full lifecycle of grants and contracts from award through closeout. Build and maintain positive relationships with funding partners. Track contract requirements, deadlines, reporting, and reimbursement opportunities. Monitor spending to ensure grant funds are used appropriately and identify potential issues early. Prepare and coordinate financial and program reports for funders. Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and compliance requirements. Help improve internal systems and processes related to grants and contracts. Provide leadership with clear, organized information to support decision-making. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Highly organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable managing multiple deadlines simultaneously. Skilled at working with financial information and reports. An excellent written and verbal communicator. A collaborative team member who enjoys working with a variety of people. Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, English, or a related field preferred. At least five years of experience managing grants, contracts, or similar administrative and financial responsibilities, preferably in a nonprofit environment. Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Experience working with budgets, financial reporting, or audits is preferred. Why J Bar J?
