Working in a fast-paced environment, this role plays a critical role in managing a team of legal assistants and directing the work to ensure timely drafting and delivery of contracts and other legal documents for customers. Key Responsibilities Oversee contract administration processes, including intake, tracking key dates, signature management, and document retention. Assigning and monitoring contract work to ensure timely and accurate completion Monitor deadlines and review work product where needed, providing corrections and hands on continued training to legal assistants Stay knowledgeable about changes to procedures internally and communicate these changes to the team; Onboard and train new legal assistants on job skills and requirements Act as first contact for any questions related to the legal assistant role Required Skills and Qualifications Education & experience
  • Associate's degree, paralegal certificate or the equivalent required. At least six years of progressively responsible experience in a legal department or similar department with at least one year of supervisory or lead responsibility. Computer skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Adaptability and flexibility

Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
