Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree and two years progressively responsible experience related to grant proposal development, or an equivalent combination of training and expertise. Candidates that do not possess a degree or two years of progressively responsible experience but have at least two or all of the following skills and/or knowledge will be considered: Computer knowledge of Mac or Windows compatible computers; general accounting understanding for budget preparation, and/or prior fiscal tech experience. Advanced software knowledge of word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. All candidates are required to possess typing skills with a speed of 45 wpm or more.Position Details:
This position is full-time, Grade 78 , continuing, non-exempt, 12-month position complete with a competitive salary and UA employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , based on education and experience. The University of Alaska (UA) requires employees to work on-site based on operational and business needs. Any approved arrangement will be based on the position's duties, operational needs, and the employee's ability to effectively perform the work remotely. This position is located at the UAF campus in Fairbanks, Alaska.- Remote work agreements will be considered for this position in accordance with UA regulations.
