What You Will Do:
Coordinate Field Control Analysts (FCAs) for construction scope, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), budgets, contract documents, and all collaborator requirements involved in construction work packages. Work closely with FCAs to ensure a detailed understanding of contract types and nuances. Audit the LEM (Labor Equipment Material) approval process performed by FCAs to ensure accurate and consistent approaches. Roll out LEMs tools to new vendors and troubleshoot any system issues. Assist FCAs in resolving issues with vendors related to LEM errors, timing issues, or accuracy concerns. Develop and manage work assignments for Field Control Analysts. Coordinate progress reporting, cost control, forecasting, and earned value analysis/reporting for fieldwork. Source standard methodologies and harmonize across work types while employing Organizational Change Management.
Who You Are:
University degree or related construction or operational training and/or experience. 6 or more years of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. For candidates who do not possess a university degree and additional 3-years experience is required (total 9+ years). Must have construction experience related to cost and scheduling controls of multi discipline projects. Oil and Gas industry related experience will be required, as the logic and sequencing of tasks is dependent upon this previous experience. Industrial Construction experience, and interfaces with the Engineering, Procurement, Contracting, Execution, and Commissioning phases of the project are highly desirable. General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach and proven leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Power BI, MS Office, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (i.e., Oracle/SAP); self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in fast-paced environments.
Physical Requirements:
Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
