Customs Support#26-18079 Up to $29 per hour Ft. Mill, SC Hybrid Job Description Our Client, a Manufacturing company, is looking for a Customs Support for their Ft. Mill, SC/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Automate report execution, data formatting, and data updates to support import and export compliance operations. Develop automated solutions to append, maintain, and validate existing data sets. Partner with the Customs Manager to design, implement, and automate reporting and tracking for: Duty and tariff mitigation programs o Foreign supplier payment audits Duty drawback filings o Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) filings Bill of Material (BOM) automation and regional value content calculations o Export EEI filings and documentation workflows Ensure data integrity, data security, and process reliability across all automated solutions. Organize responses to internal sales and customer requests related to refund status and supporting documentation. Develop dashboards, analytical models, and performance metrics to support compliance decision-making. Integrate data sources and systems through APIs and automation tools to improve efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement of compliance activities.
Requirements:
Comprehensive proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, PowerPivot, PowerQuery, and other analytics tools. Strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and relational data structures. Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices. Experience with dashboard design, visualization principles, and publishing across platforms. Familiarity with API integration and data connectivity methods. Proficiency with Power Automate or similar automation platforms. Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong problem-solving capabilities to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Highly resilient with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Demonstrates strong ethics, integrity, and commitment to compliance. Creative mindset with the ability to build innovative solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work. 3-5 years experience required. Experience supporting trade compliance, supply chain operations, or data automation functions. Experience with trade compliance systems, tariff classification, or customs documentation is a plus. Advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities required Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Information Systems, International Business, or related field preferred.
