Full Time Tablet Administrator (TA) at Correctional Facility(s).
Job description:
Under the guidance of G5 and the Field Service Manager (FSM) or designee, the Tablet Administrator independently oversees daily Inmate Tablet operations, including RMAs, tablet triage, distribution, inspection, shipping, inventory management, and trouble ticket initiation. The role also involves coordinating with customers, management, and internal teams to resolve inmate administrative issues while ensuring compliance with all internal processes, procedures, and contractual timelines. Tablet Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage day to day support functions including maintenance, when applicable, and RMA Return Material Authorization ("RMA") of the tablets including tablet triage.
  • Work at the direction of the Field Service Manager ("FSM") responsible for these sites in coordination with these facilities in determining the "Best Practices" for each situation.
  • Visit at least one assigned site per workday to ensure all assigned sites are visited once per week.
  • Distribute inventory of inmate tablets, spare inventory, and equipment at each assigned site.
  • Inspect all inmate tablets and initiate trouble tickets for any issues as needed.
  • Work on trouble resolution following guidelines provided for Tablet Resolution prior to issuing RMA.
  • Package and ship broken tablets in a timely manner (Update system within 24 hours).
  • Utilize databases to view/maintain all facility information, number of inmates, number of inmate tablets and any information that would be useful in troubleshooting inmate system issues.
  • Research and respond to inmate Requests/Grievances within the designated timeframe.
  • Maintain and manage inmate call lists (PIN/PAN).
  • Must be a self-starter that can work independently
  • Ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and record keeping skills.
Work will be performed at South Carolina Correction facility locations as assigned by G5.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
