ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform job duties from the assigned campus or work location. Serves as the Jaggaer administrator and manages all purchasing that includes submitting all purchase orders, reviewing or returning requisitions, reviewing and verifying bid and/or contract documentation. Maintains up-to-date accounting codes, approval workflows and purchasing history files, diagnosing and troubleshooting the Jaggaer system and responding to questions pertaining to Banner and Jaggaer. Manages and Processes all travel authorization and claims for TCAT Nashville. Prepare and conduct training workshops for college personnel on purchasing policies and procedures as well as all travel authorizations and claims. Analyze procurement documents for accessibility compliance requirements related to digital content purchases.
Coordinate vendor compliance documentation:
VPAT, Conformance and Remediation Form, WCAG Checklist, etc. Reviews vendor-created content against accessibility acceptance criteria and provide actionable remediation guidance. Submits contracts through Contracts Plus. Works closely with Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) personnel on processing all contracts, bids, purchases, travel, etc. Assists with equipment management. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of purchasing and/or contracts experience OR a high school/GED equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of purchasing and/or contracts experience OR a comparable combination of education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of Banner and Jaggaer electronic purchasing system. Prior experience working in higher education. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Access.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with high attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills on the phone, in writing and in-person. Ability to learn and follow the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Nashville's policies and procedures. Ability to learn department-specific software and databases, as well as the ability to accurately perform data enter and retrieval. Ability to train and mentor. ability and willingness to work any assigned shift.
Rate of Pay:
Commensurate with education and experience. $42,487
