Job Description Summary:
The Proposal Pursuits Manager oversees and implements the production of submittals, presentations, and marketing materials and activities, as well as keeping abreast of developments in areas of specialization and recommending changes in marketing/business development processes to respond to changing conditions.Job Description:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Prepare and edit letter of interest, qualifications, proposals, presentation graphics, business development materials, newsletters and in-house news release, assist other divisions and departments as directed
- Facilitate "capture plan" meetings (once trained to do so)
- Direct creation of project sheets (i.e. choose projects and photos)
- Research and develop goals and implementation plan for focused area of operations
- Interface with vendors (printers, photographers, etc., when necessary
- Assist researching and qualifying leads
- Organize special marketing events, i.e. video tapings, exhibits, BD seminars, open houses, client parties, and charity events
- Coordinate photo shoots and maintain photo files
- Engage in proactive media relations both internally and with outside public relations firms/agents
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, public relations, graphics design or related field, organizational systems and business communication
- Knowledge of A/E/C industry helpful
- Ability to work as a team player on a variety of projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
