Full Job Description Job Description:
Reporting to the PFS Manager, and employing a contracts management system, the Managed Care Contracts Coordinator is directly responsible for developing and implementing contract reimbursement models according to executed managed care contract terms, identifying and analyzing discrepancies in system and managed care reimbursement term calculations and reconciliation of payment variances. Acts as intermediary with Managed Care, Revenue Cycle and PFS management to accurately administer contract terms, identify, recommend and implement issue/problem resolution necessary to affect timely and accurate reimbursement.
Required Skills:
1. Ten-key by touch required. 2. Knowledgeable of Patient Management and Patient Accounting systems. 3. Ability to deal tactfully with Network Representatives, Manage Care Director, Associates and the general public. 4. Analytical ability to comprehend, interpret and explain complex contract terms. 5. Strong financial analytical skills 6. Strong oral and written communication skills 7. Detail oriented, ability to set and meet deadlines, and support multiple projects 8. Solid decision making skills 9. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. 10. Skilled in knowledge of computers and accounting systems 11. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Access and Power Point 12. Time management skills.
Required Experience:

Work Experience:
A minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare business office or related field required and one-year experience with claims processing and third party reimbursement and managed care contracting preferred. B.
Education and Training:
Bachelor''s degree in Business or Healthcare related field required.
