Job Description

The City of Irving is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support federally funded housing and community development programs within the Community and Economic Development Department. This position serves as the lead administrator for program contracts and agreements, with primary responsibility for coordinating implementation of the City's HOME Investment Partnerships American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) program and administering related federal funding. Duties include contract and program administration; monitoring funded activities and projects; reviewing expenditures and supporting financial oversight; preparing required reports and documentation; and ensuring compliance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements and other applicable federal regulations. The position works closely with contractors, community partners, City staff and other stakeholders and assists with additional Community and Economic Development programs as needed. This is a grant-funded position anticipated to continue through the
HOME-ARP
program implementation and closeout period, currently expected through at least December 31, 2030, subject to continued availability of grant funding and program needs.
PAY GRADE GG22 / FULL PAY RANGE

Qualifications:
A Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field, and at least one year of related experience, including contract management experience, are required. A résumé must be submitted with a completed application.
