Join our team as a Division Order Analyst IV and play a pivotal role in the distribution of oil and gas proceeds across the region. Based in The Woodlands, TX, this hybrid position offers a rewarding opportunity to work on Outside Operated Properties, collaborating with industry experts to ensure accurate ownership records and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do:
Review and monitor well reports to ensure data accuracy within your designated geographic area Analyze legal documents, including titles, leases, and contracts, to determine ownership interests Assist with well set-up, ownership changes, and special projects such as acquisitions and divestitures Prepare disbursement forms like division orders and transfer orders Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve ownership discrepancies Stay informed and engaged through internal and external educational opportunities
Required Skills:
Minimum of 4+ years relevant experience with a bachelor's degree Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Quorum Land System and SAP is a plus Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities Knowledge of basic land principles, terminology, and legal document review Flexibility to work hours as needed to meet deadlines
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with division order maintenance in Outside Operated Properties Familiarity with title opinions, probate, deeds, and assignments Ability to interpret leases, contracts, and title documents effectively
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in land, legal, or related field Over 4 years of hands-on experience in division order analysis or land administration
Other Requirements:
