Who You Are You'll perform as a Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Subcontract Manager What You Will Be Doing This position is for a Program Management / Subcontract Manager in the Integrated Systems & Partnership Supply Chain organization. This selected individual will be overseeing and managing F-35 Major Systems & Equipment Subcontractor accounts. You'll be managing subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs. Directing and managing all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements, that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and are required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Developing sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution. Acting as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. You'll have responsibility for and direction of all phases of the subcontract; from initiation of the business case for 'make or buy' decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution. You'll also make decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor, establish milestone objectives, and manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. You'll lead a team normally composed of engineers, quality and procurement staff. AeroSCM Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Experienced supply chain management professional who has led complex subcontract / PO negotiations and solved complex issues associated with subcontract execution Experience collaborating effectively across multiple functional areas. Experience leading teams or projects and mentoring peers & subordinates on how to procure and manage subcontracts Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion Advanced Microsoft Office suite of applications Travel and manage supply base to include up to 10% travel

Desired Skills:

Experience as a strategic thinker with regard to the procurement process and the state of the F-35 program in order to identify risks and proactively mitigate said risks. Experience in Major Systems & Equipment subcontract management a plus Experience in Proposal and Capture activities Knowledge of FAR/DFARs and DoD procurement policies and practices Professional communicator and a team leader; as this person will be responsible for building great relationships with supplier leaders, LM Aero counterparts, and some JPO (customer) personnel. Advanced Project management experience, to execute complex project planning Create solutions for complex procurement challenges and present those solutions to senior management and customers

Work Schedules:
