Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal/ Sr Principal Contract Administrator . This position will be located in

• Manhattan Beach, CA
• and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.

• What You'll Get To Do:

• Acts as primary interface with customer for contractual issues.

Monitors contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood. Participates in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Works under general supervision to develop solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs. Ensures fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information. Reviews terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies. Prepares and manages written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters. Enters and maintains contract data into Contract Management System and/or Enterprise Accounting System. Ensures timely delivery of all contractual deliverables Develops contractual solutions to a variety of complex problems. Performs complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Most assignments are complex and performed independently without appreciable direction. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• This requisition may be filled at either a Principal level or Sr.

Principal level.

Principal Contract Administrator :

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 5 years in Contracts or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 3 year or 1 year with a PhD or an additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree

• Sr Principal Contract Administrator:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 8 years in Contracts or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 6 year or 4 year with a PhD or an additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree Required for

Both Levels:

• Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years Experience with pricing principles and

FAR/DFARS

as well as associated Federal Contracting regulations Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior level internal & external customers Experience with managing cost plus type contracts These Qualifications would be nice to have:

• Proposal experience NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM) Ability to work independently and make independent decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholder and subject matter experts Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance Excellent verbal and written communication skills #Sentinelbusmgmt #LI-PP1

Primary Level Salary Range:

$94,200.00 - $141,200.00

Secondary Level Salary Range:

$117,500.00 - $176,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
