- $178,000 Job Description Description Join AWS's World Wide Public Sector Legal team and shape the future of cloud technology for Federal Government customers in the National Security arena.
- Review and negotiate government contracts involving Federal Government customers, including technology licensing arrangements
- Advise AWS sales and business teams on Federal Government procurement regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Develop and lead AWS litigation strategy at Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Court of Federal Claims (COFC), and Boards of Contract Appeals
- Analyze and address contract compliance issues to ensure AWS meets all federal requirements and contractual obligations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop legal strategies that balance business objectives with regulatory requirements A day in the life As an Associate Corporate Counsel supporting our public sector sales teams, you'll work on a diverse range of government contracts and compliance matters.
- 2+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Knowledge of government contracting laws, rules and regulations including, but not limited to, commercial items contracting requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) Preferred Qualifications
Security Clearance:
Preferred for Candidates to have an active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance or the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.- Experience with technology licensing agreements.
