Contract Management Support Specialist Location:
Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA (633 CONS)

Role:
INTECON seeks a Contract Management Support Specialist to provide cradle-to-grave contracting support for the 633d Contracting Squadron supporting the
F-22 FTU
Beddown program.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and subject matter expertise on contracting processes and procedures
  • Support Contract Review Committee with technical analysis of solicitation, award, and modification documents
  • Pre-Award:
    Assist with acquisition planning, synopsis preparation, solicitation preparation, market research/analysis
  • Award:
    Utilize Standard Procurement System (SPS), CON-IT, KT FileShare, AMS; prepare abstracts; verify SAM; document award justifications; assist with negotiations
  • Post-Award:
    Perform contract administration, maintain files, review invoices, prepare modifications, monitor performance, conduct site visits and labor checks, prepare closeout documentation
  • Draft contract documentation (cure notices, show-cause notices) for Contracting Officer review
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pre-award, award, and post-award contracting functions
  • Level
II APDP/DAWIA
Contracting Certification (or commercial equivalent)
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and supplements
  • Experience with Air Force contracting systems (CON-IT, SPS, SAM)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting Air Force contracting squadrons
  • Experience with construction and service contracts
  • Level
III APDP/DAWIA
Contracting Certification Pay:
$70,000.00
  • $85,000.
