Position Category Engineering Clearance No Clearance Required Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a proactive, accountable, growth-oriented Spring & Summer 2027 Subcontract Administration Co-Op to join the Procurement team at our corporate office in Reston, VA. This is a full-time co-op position requiring 40 hours per week for the entire duration of the assignment, from January 2027 through August 2027. The Peraton Procurement team is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and services to support its customers and their missions. From day one, you can expect to be treated as a full-time professional and apply all the knowledge you've learned either firsthand or in school.
Responsibilities:
Support the full subcontract lifecycle, including solicitation, evaluation, award, administration, modification, and closeout.
Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and other solicitation documentation to potential subcontractors.
Review subcontractor proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the solicitation terms and applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate and complete subcontract files in support of CPSR readiness and internal/external audit requirements.
Conduct price and/or cost analysis in support of fair and reasonable determinations, with guidance from senior team members.
Monitor subcontractor performance, delivery schedules, and adherence to contractual obligations; assist in issue resolution and risk mitigation.
Stay informed of updates to federal public procurement laws, FAR/DFARS requirements, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university actively pursuing an AA/AS/AAS or
BS/BA/BBA
Supply Chain or Contract Management.
Strong desire to pursue a career in supply chain/procurement/purchasing.
Familiarity with the concept of supply chain management.
Experience with
MS Suite:
MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Strong oral and written communications skills, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Takes initiative and follows through on commitments. #

Target Salary Range The rate / range per hour below represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range $20.00/hour+
