$30.00 - $31.25/hr About the Job Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local nonprofit organization in Olympia, WA to hire a Temporary Contracts & Financial Manager . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys meaningful work, flexibility, and helping organizations operate smoothly behind the scenes. This is a temporary contract role expected to last approximately 1 to 3 months , ideal for someone who can step in quickly, stay organized, and provide immediate support in a fast-paced mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage grants, contracts, invoicing, and distribution of funds
  • Monitor compliance and maintain accurate contract documentation
  • Process payroll and related reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and budget updates
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and forecasting
  • Reconcile accounts and monitor financial activity
  • Support leadership with financial operations and process improvements
What You Bring:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting or financial management experience within a nonprofit organization
  • Strong experience with grant management, documentation, reimbursements, and compliance
  • Experience managing contracts, reporting deadlines, and funding requirements
  • Experience with Aplos software is a plus, but not required
  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
