Job Description

Contract Surety Underwriting Manager - Tacoma, WA Manage an underwriting team focused on contract surety underwriting for middle market to large accounts such as: Construction Contract Bonds; Bid Bonds; Performance Bonds; Payment Bonds; Maintenance Bonds, etc..
Responsibilities :
Provide agents and brokers with the surety bonds needed to meet client requests. Develop relationships with customers, producers, agents, and reinsurers. Review complex submissions, profitable premiums, account losses, and pricing models. Assess bond applications to evaluate, classify, and rate each risk to determine acceptability and rating. Analyze applicant financial statements, collateral, and related due diligence.
Requirements :
