This full-time, on-site role is responsible for overseeing prime contract and subcontract administration, project setup, project accounting support, and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Contract Administrator serves as a key resource to project teams and stakeholders, providing guidance on complex contractual matters, ensuring alignment with contractual and financial requirements, and supporting successful project execution and closeout. This position requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced project environment. Responsibilities Contract Administration Oversee the administration of prime contracts and subcontracts across assigned projects. Ensure subcontract agreements are properly executed and maintained for all subconsultants. Serve as the primary resource for contract-related questions and compliance matters throughout the project lifecycle. Project Setup & Financial Oversight Review and establish new projects, ensuring alignment with contractual terms, billing requirements, and internal procedures. Monitor project budget changes against contract documentation and coordinate resolution of discrepancies with project and accounting teams. Support project accounting activities by ensuring contractual and financial requirements are accurately maintained. Project Support & Closeout Partner with project teams and stakeholders to address complex contract issues and provide practical solutions. Identify projects that are eligible for closeout and facilitate the timely, accurate completion of closeout activities. Leadership & Problem Solving Apply advanced contract administration expertise and sound judgment to resolve complex contractual and operational challenges. Determine appropriate methods and procedures for new assignments while working independently on high-level responsibilities. Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to junior contract administration staff and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred (relevant field preference above others) Minimum of 10 years of experience relevant to the position description Extensive contract administration experience, preferably within PM/CM, engineering, construction, or professional services environments. Strong knowledge of contract terms, project accounting, budgeting, and billing requirements. Proven ability to analyze complex contractual and financial information and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Compensation Range:
