About the Team Our sales team is known for its strong support, positive attitude, and team-oriented culture. The Product Specialist I is responsible for providing broad-based support and customer service management for electronic systems technology programs in the areas of business administration, marketing, accounting/finance and sales to ensure overall customer satisfaction and adherence to program cost controls with the ultimate objective of meeting of sales, profits and customer service projections and goals. What can you look forward to as

Product Specialist:

Manage the introduction of new product programs from prototype through production by interfacing with customers, sales representatives, engineering staff, purchasing agents, accounting/finance teams, and manufacturing production control departments to ensure customer requirements are satisfied. Develop and propose program-pricing strategy to Regional Sales Manager following a comprehensive review and analysis of program costing and internal controls. Approve quotations of 45% gross margin and above, present pricing figures to sales representatives and/or customers; provide follow-up quotations to increase potential for acceptance/satisfaction.

Monitor production phases to ensure program costs, margins and volume meet the quoted standard.

Maintain price history logs and ensure all customer documentation requirements are met. Perform contract reviews on customer purchase orders to ensure orders meet all previously defined customer specific requirements and adhere to ZF company policies and guidelines for order acceptance. Maintain written documents and contracts for agreements and resolutions.

Work with customers, manufacturer representatives, Strategic Business Unit Managers, Manager, Distribution Sales and Marketing and Regional/Account Managers, to revise purchase orders as necessary. Your Profile as

Product Specialist:

Associates Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or Supply Chain Management, and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.

1-3+ years of experience in customer service and/or material planning

Broad knowledge of supply chain principles

Proven project and time management abilities

Solid problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to work in an intercultural environment with international colleagues

English language competency - both oral and written
