We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract) to join our team and drive our hiring initiatives forward with energy and precision. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, identify, and hire top talent across the organization. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual who is skilled in sourcing, cold calling, candidate engagement, and compensation negotiation. Working closely with the HR Manager and HR Generalist, this specialist will ensure a seamless and professional hiring experience for both candidates and hiring teams. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment for open positions across multiple departments Post and manage job listings across relevant job boards, social media, and internal channels Track and manage candidate activity through the applicant tracking system (ATS) Conduct proactive cold calls to passive and active candidates to generate interest in open roles Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to engage hard-to-reach talent pools Build and maintain relationships with candidates for current and future hiring needs Follow up consistently with prospects to move them through the recruitment pipeline Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, resume databases, and professional networks Review and evaluate resumes to assess alignment with role qualifications and company culture Build and maintain a pipeline of pre-vetted candidates for recurring and anticipated openings Leverage Boolean search techniques and sourcing tools to identify top talent Schedule and coordinate phone screens, virtual, and in-person interviews between candidates and hiring teams Prepare candidates with interview details, role information, and company background Collect and consolidate post-interview feedback from hiring managers Communicate interview outcomes and next steps to candidates promptly Lead compensation discussions with candidates, presenting offers in alignment with internal pay bands, and market data Negotiate offer terms including salary, benefits, start dates, and other components as needed Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure offers are competitive, equitable, and within budget Guide candidates through the offer acceptance process and address any questions or concerns Work closely with the HR Generalist to support onboarding activities and pre-employment processes Provide regular recruitment updates and pipeline metrics to the HR Manager Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment workflows and candidate experience Academic/Educational Requirements 3-4 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related HR function Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred but not required. Required Skills/Experience Experience working in a collaborative HR team environment alongside HR Generalists Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and market data resources Demonstrated experience in cold calling and direct sourcing of candidates Proven ability to negotiate compensation packages and close candidates effectively Knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance best practices Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously Working Conditions 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in-office, production area as required. Standing and walking, occasionally for long periods, within manufacturing facilities. Sitting and typing at a computer. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Office environment at workstation. Typical manufacturing environment when on shop floor: Elevated noise levels Elevated temperatures near ovens and in summer Proximity to moving equipment.
