Reporting to the Executive Branch Director, the Senior Program Director, will oversee the creation, development, and growth of all aquatics and sports programming at the YMCA and will grow other programs as the branch requires. You'll lead the way in ensuring our programs are safe, fun, and effective; making sure our community gets the best possible experience. Qualifications:
Leadership with
Heart:
A desire to lead with passion, positivity, and a commitment to making a difference. Ability to assist other branches through mentorship and professional advice due to years of YMCA leadership experience.
A Splash of Experience:
A Bachelor's degree required and 4 to 5 years of YMCA management experience in sports, aquatics, youth services or related fields.
Safety First, Always:
Certifications in CPR, AED, and other necessary safety training (or willing to obtain). Lifeguard certification required. Risk Management training preferred. Ability to train lifeguards and swim instructors through YMCA-designated programs required; may attain during first six months of hire.
Team Player:
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset—this is a role where collaboration and engagement are key!
